Coming to Pančevo for a Festival or Event? Make a Weekend of It
Planning a trip to Pančevo for a festival, concert or cultural event?
Don’t make it just an evening out. Stay for the weekend, explore the city and enjoy Pančevo at a slower pace.
Throughout the year, Pančevo hosts music festivals, film screenings, international cultural events, concerts, theatre performances and outdoor programmes — making it an increasingly interesting destination for a short city break.
Pančevo International Carnival
One of the city’s biggest annual events is the Pančevo International Carnival.
Held since 2003, the event brings together performers and carnival groups from different countries, with celebrations taking place across several locations in the city.
The programme traditionally includes a large international carnival parade and events throughout the city centre.
If you are visiting Pančevo for Carnival weekend, staying overnight means you can enjoy the atmosphere without worrying about travelling home late.
Music, Jazz and Live Performances
Music is another important part of Pančevo’s cultural calendar.
The Pančevo Jazz Festival returned for its 29th edition in October 2026, while the Cultural Centre of Pančevo also regularly hosts concerts, the Pančevo – City of Dance festival and other music programmes.
During September 2026 alone, the city’s programme included the Pančevo Film Festival, Days of Pančevo Rock & Roll and international concert performances.
There is often something happening — even outside the main festival season.
